Mark qualified as a Chartered Surveyor having worked and trained in central London for two internationally recognised organisations, Jones Lang La Salle and King Sturge. His work was instrumental in providing property advice across all sectors to a range of clients including FTSE 100 development and investment companies.

Since moving to the West Country several years ago, Mark has worked as a Director of Valuation at Atis Real Ltd, now BNP Paribas Real Estate.   His primary role was to manage a team of surveyors who provided professional valuation and consultancy advice to the banking sector, with clients including Barclays, HSBC, RBS and Nationwide.

This was followed by a period working as a property consultant at Clydesdale Bank as part of the Property Risk team. Mark had direct responsibility for commercial property advice to twelve offices in the south west.  This included advising the bank on the structuring and pricing of large property development and investment loans that involved both senior and mezzanine finance.  In conjunction with this Mark had direct responsibility for managing the bank's south west professional panel of advisors including Quantity Surveyors, Valuers and Lawyers.

More recently Mark worked with Andrew at the Trevor Osborne Property Group where he negotiated complex property deals with both the public and private sectors.  As part of the team he worked alongside external professional advisors setting and monitoring budgets, as well as securing development finance for the group's investment and development projects.

Mark has maintained links with the education sector throughout his career and currently lectures on a part time basis at a local Business Enterprise College, complimenting his role as a visiting lecturer at the School of Property and Communities, University of the West of England, Bristol.
